He is a PhD candidate at the University of Porto, Portugal, where he is studying the impact of algorithmic recommendations on journalism in West Africa.
When he realized that many young people wasted their talents due to lack of opportunities in Ghana’s slum of James Town, Franklin Owusu, aka Kali Process, teamed up with friends and created Ehehia Street Dance Group GH. Not only does the group teach them hip hop dance, it also helps them dream beyond their limitations.
