Savvas Christou's passion for filmmaking began in high school and led him to Los Angeles in 2016 to study at NYFA. He has since directed 14 short films, including "A Scream That's Trapped Inside," which won 19 festival awards. His first feature film, "Captive," was released theatrically and digitally by Vertical Entertainment in the United States and Canada, and secured distribution in 44 additional countries through the sales agent High Octane Pictures. Savvas co-directed his second feature, "To Teras," which premiered in Cyprus. His unwavering commitment to storytelling and cinematic artistry has made a significant impact both locally and internationally.
