Greetings. I am a filmmaker recently relocated to Brooklyn from Ventura, CA where I studied visual journalism at Brooks Institute. Though I enjoy creating short narratives and music videos, documentary is my passion. I get a great deal of satisfaction from exploring the world around me and by sharing the uncommon or overlooked aspects of humanity. I have worked on several short films involving the homeless, focusing on what it means to be human and a part of society. I have also began shooting for a doc feature about the serious pollution problems plaguing the air and the people of Salt Lake City, which was recently crowned the most polluted city in the world. I am also in preproduction for a documentary about the loss of culture through civilization in Mexico. Though the subjects and locations that I shoot vary greatly, I feel that each of these stories NEED to be communicated for the greater good of humanity. Whether for social change or historical purposes, we can share the world for what it is today. And I look forward to learning more about the local documentary/journalism scene in NYC. Cheers!
