Studied Computer Science at TH Darmstadt and Sociology at Hamburg University. Formerly called Christian. R. Fibikar, he now works under the name Christian R. Timmann as a freelance editor. He edits documentaries and tv-series for German and international TV and film productions. Several of his film productions and TV documentaries were presented at international festivals and have won several prizes.

Andreas Kieling reist mit einem Expeditionsschiff von Patagonien vorbei am Kap Hoorn zu den Falklandinseln, nach Südgeorgien bis ins Endlos-Weiß der Antarktis. Eindrucksvolle Tieraufnahmen der Polarwelt werden mit historischen Aufnahmen aus der Zeit der Antarktis-Entdecker kombiniert.
