Despite not attending the most prestigious college, the experience provided him with invaluable connections to passionate filmmakers. JD's cinematic odyssey began with avidly watching behind-the-scenes videos and crafting smaller music videos. He vividly recalls how his everyday pursuits often manifested as drawings and paintings, instilling in him a deep-seated love for cinematography and a fervent passion for crafting daring, cinematic visuals. With extensive production experience, JD has been immersed in every facet of pre and post-production, steering projects from the germination of concepts through script revisions, budget management, and schedule coordination to overseeing post-production during the meticulous editing phases. JD has achieved the exceptional honor of being selected for the highly competitive ASC Mentorship program for 2024-2025.
