As a freelancer, I'm afforded a lot of flexibility to travel and do so often. Sometimes with a Canon 7D, sometimes with a GoPro, and always with an iPhone. I have 8 years experience of cutting content from promos/commercial to documentary/reality. Earlier in my career I shot and produced a lot of travel videos for myself and would like to get back behind the lens in producing more content.
This video tells the story of the charity I'm involved with that helps provide education scholarships to children growing up in the Dukathole Township outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. Though it is a bit dated, it is a good representation of what I can do with next to no budget and wearing every hat in terms of producing, shooting, interviewing, sound recording, and editing.
