He began his journey as a staff photographer for Egypt Today magazine, documenting stories in the Middle East and northern Africa. He transitioned from a photographer to a picture editor during his five years of work at the Washington Post and three years of photo editing at the Detroit Free Press. Yet, it was Todd's graduate degree from 2010 in multimedia/video from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University that united him with his love for the "moving image." Since graduation, he has worked full-time roles as a video producer/shooter/editor for The Rockefeller Foundation, CNN, NBC Universal (TODAY show and Dateline NBC), ABC News.com, American Public Television and The Wall Street Journal.
