The film received international critical acclaim and went on to win over 23 international awards including a Cinema Eye Awards nomination. Soon after screening in independent cinemas in the U.S., U.K., Peru, Mexico and Germany, it was released Worldwide via Netflix, with actor Leonardo DiCaprio signing on as EP. In 2020, Orzel co-founded Hairless Dog Films, focusing on long-form non-fiction and branded content. That same year he directed the campaign Committed To The Long Run that was awarded a Dolphin at the prestigious 2020 Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards. Most recently, Orzel co-produced Gaming Wall Street premiered on HBO Max.

Our aim: To produce a series of films capturing the impact of events like the Lima 2019 Games. We told stories of stakeholders—host, citizens, Arup (the client), and athletes—highlighting teamwork and dedication. Using facts and sporting metaphors, we aimed to symbolize commitment and sacrifices, inspiring future generations and leaving a lasting legacy. The campaign slogan: "Committed to the Long Run."
A feature documentary that exposes the political machinations behind a pitched battle in the Peruvian rainforest, the deaths on multiple fronts, and the true motivations that led to the tragedy now known as El Baguazo. In addition to recognition on five continents, the film became a polemic centrepiece of political discourse in Peru, respected for uncovering the painful truth from a balanced perspective.
Maria Fernanda Reyes, known as Mafer, honed her swimming and surfing skills by the sea. Mentored by a local surfer, she emerged as Peru's leading female longboarder. In 2019, Mafer aimed for gold at the Pan American Games, only to face a setback when her board broke in the first round. Yet, against all odds, she mounted an extraordinary comeback, clinching the silver medal and igniting national inspiration. This story epitomizes Mafer's journey of resilience amidst adversity.
