Revolution in Myanmar is a long-term documentary photography project I've worked on since 2021. It's the story about the revolution to dethrone Myanmar's military junta and ongoing civil war in Myanmar. This project has been awarded two World Press Photo awards, W. Eugene Smith grant in humanistic photography and Picture of the Asia awards.
After the cyclone Nargis devastated delta region of Burma in 2008, some of the survivor families from the area had decided to move other parts of the country as their paddy fields were destroyed by salty water. Some families moved to outskirts of capital Yangon and start making bricks to built up their life.
