I look after stories end to end- from ideation/proposals, fixing, building teams, budgeting, filming to editing. Depending on the project, I am happy to fill in for one or all of these roles. I have been a journalist for the last 10 years and have covered the expanse of the country for stories on- culture, gender, development, rights. I am curious about the world and my country and can often be found travelling in fringe parts for stories. Sidrah is very professional, communicative and follows directions and improvises when necessary. She's always keeping you up to date on the interview, logistics, how the shoot went and when the files will arrive. Her shots are also great.

Last three years after Modi became PM, India has seen a sharp rise in Cow Vigilantism. The country is now dotted with large and small bands of self proclaimed cow protector groups. The vigilantism took a deadly turn in 2015, when a muslim man was lynched over allegations of cow slaughter. Since then there have been many such incidents especially in Jharkhand.
