Hello! I go by my middle name Carlos. I started off in this industry primarily as an editor but quickly took interest in capturing stories of people on the field. As my career advanced I found myself working in advertising as a freelance editor by day and on weekends,downtime, or night--Color grading music videos, documentaries/features and commercials as well as acquiring a great deal of experience shooting them. Coming Home: Vietnam on Revolt TV
Coming Home: Vietnam is the fourth documentary film in the ‘Coming Home’ series. The series follows DJ EFN and his crew as they travel abroad exploring countries through the scope of hip hop culture. The goal is to learn about the country by meeting people who share the common language of hip hop culture. Each film has a personal element which brings the guys to a specific country, and Coming Home: Vietnam is no different. DJ EFN finds himself in the very spot his father fought over 42 years ago during the Vietnam war. The previous films are Coming Home (Cuba), Coming Home: Peru, and Coming Home: Haiti. All three films made their tv debut on Revolt tv and are currently airing on the network.

The Road to the Nationals: A Latino Youth Soccer Story--This short documentary/branded content is viewable on Sprint's Youtube Channel
This project captures the story of a team of young latino's from Kansas City. They come together as a team to overcome every obstacle on their journey to the U.S. Youth Soccer Nationals. While filming this story you get a sense of how much the families sacrifice to get their kids to games and practice as well as cross country tournaments.

The Voice of a River
In 1979, Mark Dubois chained himself to a rock behind New Melones Dam in the USA’s Stanislaus River Canyon and threw away the key. This was no empty gesture: if the Army Corps of Engineers continued to fill the reservoir, Mark would drown. 42 years later, Mark’s story has been told in a short film released for Earth Day 2021.
