Request QuoteI currently work as a director and independent editor for the advertising and film industry in Puerto Rico. My work as an artist seeks to transmit human stories from a sociological perspective, where the most basic needs, prejudices, cultural phenomena, social castes and my own everyday experiences are reflected. Recent projects include several short documentaries for the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts on the history and impact of its cultural programming around the island. In the past months I was also selected to participate in a workshop on the Meisner method for directing actors, which took place at the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba. Additionally, I had the personal advice of a professional scriptwriter while working on the script of my next short film "Dónde está Catalina". This story is based on my first feature film−currently in development−titled "La Fuga". My creative practice is tied to the reality of the country where I live; its idiosyncrasies, colonial nuances, the relationship with the Caribbean and the individual search for redemption. In short, my purpose is to showcase a social portrait of Puerto Rico and contribute to culture through film art.
