Request QuoteBorn in Milan in 1975. I’ve graduated in International Financial Markets Economy at Bocconi University but decided to change path and become a photojournalist. In recent years, hypochondria and curiosity led me around the world to work mainly on maternal and child health related issues. Among other things I’ve photographed indigenous minorities, the gangs in Central America, the journeys of His Holiness, the disabled children in northern India and the young people who live on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. I have exhibited in Italy and abroad and published on important national and international newspapers and magazines. In 2008 I published for IMAGINE Onlus the book “La Mosquitia. Gracias a Dios” and in 2011 was published with “MEDPEOPLE” with MMF. I’ve just competed my long term project OUT OF SIGHT on the global HIV/AIDS epidemic after 30 years.
We asked young people from eight cities on the Mediterranean shore to define their relationship with their urban landscape, thinking about it as a social environment where the relationship between citizen and governing body comes to life. Shot for Monaco Mediterranée Foundation.
OOS aims to inform the public about the lives of those who suffer from or are affected by HIV and AIDS. The project intends to be a visual and narrative prevention tool - the photographic body of work is enriched with articles, infographics and insights - to help create more awareness about the disease.
