Saboor is a talented producer and editor and is great at selecting stories. He pitched us the Muay Thai story in Afghanistan and worked with a talented crew in Kabul to shoot it. We’re producing verite/character-driven documentaries so his crew could have done a better job with micing characters during their daily lives so that we could have more personable moments in the edit, but considering the challenges that come with filming in Kabul, they did a great job. We are very happy with Saboor’s work. -Jun
