Request QuoteI started shooting skateboarding in the 90’s, and fell in love with cinematography and film. Today I have a small production company called OTDfilms and it's a fully-insured, one-stop shop for video content. I specialize in documentary and action, but I'm heavily experienced in all forms of storytelling. I'm a skilled producer, director, cinematographer and editor, so I can turn an idea into broadcast-quality content. I can also plug my main camera right into a zoom call so you can be on the set with us. I look forward to working with you.

So far I've shot and cut four mini-docs on charity organizations that LAFC and Farmer John work with to give students from low-income communities extra support; mentoring, sports, homework assistance, and much more. This is the first episode featuring the non-profit organization Bresee Foundation.
Highlight reel from assorted projects.
Six years ago Mike Vallely started a skateboard company in his garage with his daughter Emily. Street Plant was born and Garageland still flourishes today. Street Plant Naturals are Mike and Emily's first venture into more eco-friendly skateboards. With the help of Daniel Creadon each board is made one at a time with a special eco-conscious glue. Each board is stained and silk-screened by hand making each board one-of-a-kind and truly a piece of fine art.
For nearly 75 years, Fender Guitars has provided the electrified soundtrack of modern music. Its masterpieces of wood, steel, and lacquered paint have been in the hands of world-famous musicians like Buddy Holly, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Bruce Springsteen. When Jimi Hendrix closed out Woodstock with his era-defining performance of the U.S. national anthem, a white-bodied 1968 Fender Stratocaster was his ax of choice. Fender’s story begins back in 1946, when its eponymous founder, Leo Fender, decided to put his electronic know-how to musical use, and started making amplifiers and lap steel guitars in his southern California workshop. With the introduction of the Telecaster and Stratocaster electric guitars (in 1951 and 1954, respectively), the world of music was never the same. Today, Fender still makes many of its guitars in the Golden State at its Corona, California factory southeast of Los Angeles. Although today’s guitar-making process involves advanced machinery to form blocks of wood into a musical masterpiece, every six-stringed creation is also a hand-made piece of art. “We owe to Leo the modular process with lumber,” Fender’s Director of Operations, Mark Kendrick, tells Popular Mechanics. “We continue to hand shape, hand craft the way we’ve always done it.” For the rest of the story, click here: https://bit.ly/3YqwuVX
I shot and cut this fun promo for Swatch and the Vans Park Series with professional skateboarder Nora Vasconcellos. Always serious, always working out, Nora is one tough cookie ... or maybe she just eats cookies and makes jokes all day. 2nd camera: Ricki Bedenbaugh. Directed by Chris Nieratko.
I pitched this documentary to Red Bull and served as the Director of Photography. Hard Lovin’ Woman is a heavy-hitting rock documentary featuring the story of Oscar-nominated actress, Juliette Lewis. The short-film, directed by actor and director, Michael Rapaport, explores the sacrifices Lewis makes to pursue her first love: music. This documentary mixes live performance with revealing behind-the-scenes interviews to capture the raw energy and passion of Oscar-nominated actress Juliette Lewis and her band The Licks as they embark on a world tour. Premiered at Tribeca Film Festival on April 15th 2016 and was made available globally on Red Bull TV April 23rd.
