Hello, I am a recent college graduate at Fordham University in New York City. I have a degree in International Studies. As evidenced by my degree, I am passionate about international issues and events. In fact, as journalist/on-camera reporter, I would like to cover stories that are affecting the global community. I am interested in stories that impact society. I consider my strength to be investigative journalism, and I am intent on spreading truth and uncovering injustice that is taking place in different parts of the world. I am extremely interested in humanitarian affairs, as well. I am a member of the Jesuit Universities Humanitarian Action Network, and two years ago, a few Fordham students and I attended a bi-annual humanitarian conference at Georgetown University. There, we studied different humanitarian issues including displaced populations, environmental problems, and global health. As you can see, I am intent on using my multi-disciplinary education/degree at a top Jesuit University to help me cover international stories. I have supplementary knowledge to cover the events and issues occurring around the world.
