Ukraine: Dog rehabilitation helps veterans to switch from war to peaceful life
Dog is not only best friend, but a big relief for the veterans. The dogs trained by “Hero’s friend” organization are not just a usual pet – they follow veteran everywhere, sleep with him, eat wit him and walk with him. In other words, dog creates a comfort zone in day-to-day life. Their main task is to prepare veteran for the further rehabilitation with psychologist.
