Request QuoteI graduated in July 2015 from the world’s Number 1 Hospitality & Management school, the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland. The 3 years that I spent studying there allowed me to evolve in a highly multicultural environment, achieving demanding group projects (80% of the curriculum was based on group work) and working under strict deadlines. I have produced, along with my student colleagues, numerous market researches and economic reports for some of the most renowned companies in the Hospitality industry. As a passionate traveler and photographer, I worked abroad as often as I had the chance. I started with internships in Spain and England, then went to study in Switzerland, did another internship in the Angkor Kingdom of Cambodia. Then after graduating, I went to live for a year in Laos, which I really loved, and now I am in Myanmar, where I have been called to work for a luxury cruise company. Let me detail these two last working experiences : My mission in Laos was very diversified. I was the travel expert in charge of selling our trekking, motorcycling, cruising and mountain cycling tours to international customers. I acquired deep selling skills and knowledge of how to gain the customer’s trust through honest and quality piece of advice. I took care of the sales from A to Z, from answering their first questions to sending the final invoice through our Xero finance program. My company was also one of the 4 best local agents of Laos, selected by the French Evaneos travel agency who assigned me to be their local agent for the French market. I also redesigned 3 of the websites of the company (the main website and its trekking and motorcycling branches) to give them a fresh & modern touch. All our websites were hosted on WIX, which I now fully master in term of design and Search Engine Optimization. I also created new design for all our programs and managed the online communication, both on social medias and by sending a monthly newsletter to our followers. I am also a passionate of photography (which was very useful to create a full photography database) and video making. My video editing skills really helped to enhance our global visibility and brought us many positive comments and feedbacks. I also created a full documentary about Luang Prabang (the small town where I lived in northern Laos) and Off Road Laos Adventures. I used to go on survey in the most remote areas of Laos, through jungle and hill tribe villages, always with a camera and a Gopro in my backpack to bring back breathtaking images from all trips. Most of the videos I created are available on the following Youtube link : www.youtube.com/user/OffroadLaosAdventure After this Lao experience, I moved to Myanmar where I still am, working as Operations Manager for “Ancient Cities Flotilla”. I manage an amazing team of 30 Burmese experts in the cruise industry and am responsible for : - Administration & Operations (costs & budget planning, Human resources (recruitment, salary…), cost control, logistic for the 5 boats we operates, decoration of our boats and daily operations onboard to enhance the global service quality) - Marketing and Communication (Facebook account, Instagram account, new flyers, creation of a book about the company, taking quality pictures for our website, creating a movie about our company) - Sales (several trips to Yangon to talk to main local DMC’s and local sales in Mandalay city. Never having a future that is all planned out (except discovering this planet through cultural immersions) allowed me to touch different fields of activities. My hotel management studies taught me about entrepreneurship, marketing, innovation, finance, computer science, law, economics, hotel management, psychology ... And through my own passions, as mentioned above, I learnt the art of travel photography, graphic design and video making. And I also love all kind of sports but my favorite ones are mountain biking, horseback riding, trail running and Thai boxing. Warmest regards, Emilie
