Despite HIV prevalence being low in the United Kingdom reports of late diagnosis of HIV among black heterosexual men are on the rise. The film tells the story of Lebo Mohlakoana a widow who lost the husband due to late diagnosis of HIV.
The story is about the plight of HIV positive women who are living in vulnerable conditions, being forced to skip taking HIV medication due to lack of food. This is as a result of loss of jobs due to the COVID 19 pandemic. It is a two part documentary.
This is part two of the Burden of Corona on HIV patients. Here, I highlight the plight of Nyamvula and Sidi. They have been living in deplorable conditions and COVID-19 has made there situation even worse.
