Request a demoMy name is Lina Gaitán, I live in Cali, Valle del Cauca, a province from Colombia, since I was 3 years old. I studied History and english for teaching at the university, but I got passionate for video-making as a member of Féminas Festivas Feminist Collective, a circle of women, that some friend and me started 5 years ago, that involve activities of self-caring, self-taught and production of creative and artistic material about our life experience as women. This passion lead me to met the local producer of gender based information network INFOGENERO.NET from MAVI foundation (Mujer,Arte y Vida) a feminist collective of women with 18 years of experience in media production and feminist activism in Cali. There I work as collaborator in research, recording, narration and editing since 2011. I love stories about diary life committed people to transform their lives and their communities, peace building, women rights activism and art, as well as the upcoming visibility of gender dissidence and creativity.
