At Brigham Young University, 98% of the students are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Among them is a small but strong community of Muslims. In this short documentary, several of these students share what it's like to be a religious minority.
Women’s Work is an observational short documentary following midwives and mothers in Utah Valley as they work together to have successful and comfortable birthing experiences. In an age when hospital births are the norm, many mothers have turned to midwifery as the solution to finding empowerment and autonomy during birth. This project is currently in production.
