Hi there! My name is Katharine (you can call me Katie), and I am a screenwriter and production assistant. As an ambitious creator with a passion for diverse storytelling, I am always looking to work alongside and learn from other artists. After graduating from university with honors in history, I leaned into my analytical and editorial skills to pursue a creative career in entertainment. In my role as a Producer's Assistant for Tableland Pictures, I designed the company's website, wrote and edited marketing content, and created a system for organizing post-production files and correspondence. During this process, I also developed a strong understanding of film budgets and union contracts. As a freelancer, I am now working with Mae Shore Productions, editing grant proposals for a short film in pre-production.
