I am an independent journalist with a diverse portfolio encompassing many reports and long-form stories on socio-political and human rights issues for esteemed publications such as Al Jazeera, TRT World, The Wire, Scroll, Outlook, Himal Southasian and others. I am a recipient of The Human Rights and Religious Freedom Journalism grant for my investigation of the indoctrination of students in schools run by right-wing organisations across India. Having honed my craft over the course of 3+ years in the dynamic media industry, I have consistently advocated for journalism that transcends the mere dissemination of information. Instead, I strive to present stories that resonate deeply with readers, employing a narrative style that captivates their senses and immerses them in the lives and struggles of individuals who have been marginalized or oppressed. Through my reportage, I have tried to shed light on pressing issues such as political prisoners, land grabs by corporations, misinformation and propaganda, attacks on minorities, Dalits, women, and a multitude of other human rights concerns that afflict our society.
