David went above and beyond what was required of him as a video journalist for this story. We wanted to show the character's life in the hospital and ask David to follow them for a day. What he delivered was both very precise but also creative, with an additional layer of complexity and dedication to his work. David has always been responsive and willing to travel in order to make the best out of his reporting. He went to great lengths to interview as many characters as possible in order to get the point across. We're grateful for a journalist who didn't just deliver the necessary footage but demonstrated the willingness to make the story more dynamic, more action-based, more complicated.
