About
For the last seven years Kuba Witek worked in Greenland, Spitsbergen, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Poland and the USA as a documentary filmmaker, author and speaker. He is fascinated by the North, whose inhabitants and nature are most strongly affected by the effects of climate change and destructive human activity. Thanks to many years of attention devoted to the arctic regions, he had the opportunity to conduct many interviews with scientists, historians, politicians and artists, many of whom are the protagonists of his films.
Kuba appreciates teamwork, but has the skills and experience that allow him to take care of each stage of film production, often carried out in demanding polar conditions. His projects were created in cooperation with National Geographic Poland, Greenpeace, the Embassies of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen and Reykjavik, and various scientific institutions.
Kuba is a supporter of a plant-based diet, a minimalist, and cares about ecology and internal development.
