About
I produce short documentaries for the web that focus on human rights, education, criminal justice and racial bias. I have made films about stop and frisk and marijuana arrests in New York City. I have also made films about undocumented students working on immigration reform in Queens, and about a 15-year-old girl who moved from Texas to Moscow on her own to study ballet at the Bolshoi's ballet academy. The film that I made about my own children's experience attending a Russian school in Moscow received a National Magazine Award.
