Noel Guevara is a conservation photographer, filmmaker, producer, and National Geographic Explorer based in Manila, Philippines. He is also an Emerging League Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP) and Summit Fellow at the 2022 Jackson Wild Media Festival. Noel focuses on the Asia-Pacific region but specializes in stories from the Philippine seas. He covers ocean conservation, climate change, single-use plastic issues, and the complex relationships of coastal and urban communities with the sea. His experience in producing content and creating visual stories spans more than 18 years, from founding his design firm, Burnwater Design Studios in 1998 to directing TV commercials and documentaries. He is currently working on his National Geographic Society grant-funded documentary "Tales from the Triangle" and his self-funded adventure documentary series on YouTube, "Life Uncharted."
