Following my Master of Arts in Mass Communication (2016), I worked in the film and television industries as a cameraperson and producer. I was filming in Kashmir, a disputed territory between India and Pakistan when I shifted gears and began documenting the consequences of armed conflict on women, children, and youth. I am now an independent documentary filmmaker and videographer, with a focus on conflict, politics, religion and gender.
