My name is Santi Carneri (La Plata, Argentina, 1987). I'am a freelance journalist, photographer and videographer based in Paraguay since 2013. I combine personal long-term projects with editorial assignments in photo, text, audio and vídeo from international clients. I was born in Argentina but I grew up in Spain. I have both nationalities: Argentine and Spanish. I have worked as a reporter, fixer, producer and photographer for The New York Times, Associated Press (AP), The Guardian, El País, Univision, Deustche Welle, Al Jazzera and BBC, among many others companies, brands and media. Before been a freelancer, I started my carrier as a local reporter and photographer in Madrid. And then as a junior correspondent for EFE/EPA (European Press Agency) in Spain, Brazil and then in Paraguay.
