Not even counting the fact that Jack Dodson worked on two continents (in the US and in Israel) to make this story come together, he did a terrific job telling the story. He was very open to editorial notes and structural guidance.

I'm focused mainly on state violence against marginalized communities, as well as long-term investigations. My background is in both newspapers and documentary filmmaking -- including working under Alex Gibney at Jigsaw Productions for a year and a half. I finished studying at Columbia Journalism School in September 2016, after specializing in both the investigative and documentary programs, and currently freelance on both print and video assignments.

Jack came in on an assignment that had been dropped by a previous producer and did a terrific job. He told the story well and it looked great.
On International Women's Day in 2014, we released a unpublished scene from the "Health for All" project telling the story Reshma, a bride-burning victim. This was the most important part of my film work in India in 2012, and I collaborated with the nonprofit in the video to release the short video a few years later.
A 2011 documentary feature about three American college students traveling to Sri Lanka to ask questions about environmental issues. We made this film for the Park Foundation & Periclean Productions, an Elon University program. I was the writer, co-director, editor, and director of photography.
My work from Columbia Journalism School, 2015-2016. Projects included an interview with a former marine turned tattoo artist who uses art to cope with PTSD, an exploration into debtors prisons in the U.S., a hacker with Anonymous taking on ISIS, and a Hispanic church in Corona, Queens, responding to anti-immigrant sentiment.
Eurovision, the annual international pop music contest, recently took place in Tel Aviv. While revelers party on the beach, activists bring bus loads of tourists to catch a glimpse of what life is like in occupied Hebron.
A short documentary about access to health care in India, and the organizations bringing health to the poorest of the poor. We spent five weeks in 2012 shooting this piece. I was the director, writer, editor, and director of photography for this project.
A feature, theatrical film directed by Alex Gibney that explores the work and adulation of Steve Jobs. I served as the researcher on the project, helping coordinate and set up shoots, providing extensive pre-interviews and helped research concepts illustrated in the film, as well as conducting year-long archival research, working with people from people all over the world.
