Rachael Dyer is an award-winning director, producer, and journalist based in New York. Named one of Doc NYC’s 2023 “40 Under 40,” she has created acclaimed work for Netflix, Apple TV+, Paramount+, MTV Documentary Films, Disney, HBO Max, Peacock, Oxygen, Discovery ID, OWN, and the BBC. Her directorial debut, PAY OR DIE (2023), executive produced by MTV’s Sheila Nevins, sheds light on America’s insulin affordability crisis and has been featured at major film festivals worldwide, winning numerous awards and critical acclaim. As a producer, her credits include WORLD EATS BREAD (2024), SURVIVAL MODE (2024), GUTSY (2022) with Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, KEEP THIS BETWEEN US (2022), SHERI PAPINI: LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES (2022), PIANO CRAFTSMAN (2021), UN(WELL) (2020), and ANSWERED (2020). Beginning her career as a journalist for outlets including BBC, ABC, and Channel News Asia, she earned the Southern California Journalist Award for excellence in international journalism.
