An Outrage
AN OUTRAGE reveals the history and legacy of lynching in the American South. Filmed on-location at lynching sites in six states and bolstered by the memories and perspectives of descendants, community activists, and scholars, the film serves as a hub for action to remember and reflect upon a long-hidden past. Premiered at the Smithsonian Museum of American History, March 2017. Toured to 85 sites in 26 states, March 2017-June 2019.
