Request QuoteZala Opara works as a film producer since 2014, she is a graduate of Film at Falmouth University and is in the process of finalizing her masters of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology. She worked on international productions in the UK, Netherlands and Slovenia. She currently works with Vertigo, Ljubljana, Slovenian production company known for over 40 awarded films since its creation in 1994. The 2017 produced film titled My Last Year as A Looser (2018) won the best film award for the 2018 Festival of Slovenian Film, and many other awards. Currently, Vertigo, as the majority coproducer has two films in the distribution and two in the pre-production and is also collaborating on several films in distribution and pre-production as a minority coproducer. Since Zala started working with Vertigo, she worked on the production of three features and one literary documentary series and is attached to a project since its early development stage. She is involved with every production taking place at Vertigo, Ljubljana.
