About

Alaye is a well experienced television director and video journalist for both national (VPRO, NTR) and local stations (AT5). But he also produces videos for online usage. His father a Nigerian bridge engineer and mathematician of royal descent, his mother a Dutch lawyer, he was born in Manchester UK. He was largely raised in The Netherlands where he lives at this moment in the capital Amsterdam. Due to his academic background with a master in History and Political science he has the ability as a video journalist to make in depth stories on a large variety of subjects. He focuses on economic, political and social subjects. In most cases the reports are character based using a lot of scenes and thereby avoiding ‘the talking head’. www.alaye.nl
