Request QuoteI have recently directed the short docudrama film; Have We Met Before? for the BBC & BFI funded programme “Born Digital”. The scheme was celebrating the 30th anniversary of the internet. To hit this, I honed in on how the internet has radically changed how gay men meet for sex. My previous short film, Away With Me, screened at festivals around the world (including LSFF) and was distributed by Peccadillo Pictures. I work freelance as a video editor for narrative, branded content & documentary work, predominantly at VICE for the last few years. This has given me great experience in compelling, commercial storytelling. I work with a strong sense of authenticity and colour energy.

Lebanon is about to take a historic step for the Arab World with a proposed bill to legalize the cultivation of cannabis for medical use. But in the fertile Bekaa valley in Eastern Lebanon, where communities have been growing cannabis for generations, this news has not gone down well. I worked as an additional editor on this film.
From hanky codes to the (r)evolution of the internet, this short docudrama utilises slices of LGBT social history to explore our basic human need for sex and intimacy. A chorus of voices lead our narrative as the verbatim stories of nine different men of various ages. Made as part of the BBC & BFI’s emerging talent initiative, Born Digital, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the internet.
Collaborating with Prada Black, poet Max Wallis and photographer Ron Timehin discover the capital with a night-time look at London’s famous landmarks, aided by the perfect after-hours scent.
