His feature directorial debut, YOUR FRIEND, MEMPHIS, premiered at SXSW 2022. David is Emmy-nominated for his editing on the documentary series CHEER (Netflix), and has edited under acclaimed documentary directors Amanda McBaine and Jesse Moss (Boys State) and Greg MacGillivray (Everest). He received his MFA in Documentary Film from Stanford University, and is a member of the Alliance of Documentary Editors.
