I documented a show and event for MK Asante at Bmore Dilla. I had to edit together a story which shows the bond MK Asante has with Ma Dukes, Dilla's mother, and the significance of this night in relation to MK Asante's brand and life work.
This documentation of Light City Baltimore in Clifton Park was commissioned by Isaac Ewart: the lead creative behind this event. I was able to obtain interviews and document the night while highlighting the people involved.
I follow MK Asante to his talk at a Memoir Class in Howard University. This piece was important because it showcases MK Asante's beliefs and philosophies behind his writing and work while reaching other young creators.
