Request a demoI am a self-shooting freelance documentary filmmaker with a focus on social and issues and human rights. I have eight years of experience producing long and short form documentaries for UK channels such as BBC, Channel 4 and ITV and a range of nonprofits such as BBC Media Action and WaterAid. I have strong editorial instincts and a natural sense of narrative in the edit. I have experience working in difficult environments, including: remote locations, institutions such as hospitals and prisons, and alongside activists. I am effective at gaining delicate access to individuals and institutions, participatory filmmaking and producing documentaries of a highly sensitive nature.
I filmed, produced and directed this short film showcasing Children Change Colombia's project in the Sierra Nevada which supports young adults living rurally with various alternative education course such as 'aviturismo'.
Produced and directed this 30’ minute documentary ‘Donde Crece la Vida: El Valle de Condebamba’ for Peru's biggest human rights NGO, Red Muqui. The documentary follows a group of environmental defenders in Cajamarca, northern Peru who are exposing the harmful impacts of large-scale mining in the highly biodiverse region.
I made this short film for the BBC World Service, focusing on the Kangaroo-care neonatal unit for premature babies in Bogota, Colombia.
