About
I have told the stories of evicted illegal immigrants, the trials of recovering drug addicts, and the efforts of an entire community to end gang violence. I have documented the struggles and triumphs of homeless teens in Chicago. I have even reported across language barriers to tell the story of religious intolerance amongst Buddhist monks in Myanmar.
I'm an editor, photographer, and producer. I mostly cut in Premiere, and I have a solid working knowledge of motion graphics through After Effects. I thrive under tight deadlines, and as a jack-of-all-trades, I am comfortable with all things media and editorial.
I am a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where I spent four years developing my talents in documentary style media production and multimedia storytelling. Nowadays I'm a freelance editor at VICE, having worked on Emmy-nominated series Gaycation, Emmy-nominated VICE on HBO, and Weediquette, amongst other shows.
