Currently based in Toronto Canada, Aaron approaches his work with a focus on narratives where culture, history and environment collide. Since 2011 he has committed himself to exploring cultures still connected to the original world as they face the realities of the industrialized modern world. Highlighting important human and environmental rights issues, Aaron addresses the need to protect nature by revealing our profound connection it. Aaron's work has been recognized by a number of institutions including American Photography, the Magenta Foundation, Photolucidia, PDN, the Lucie Awards, and Visura, he won was a finalist in the 2015 Burn Emerging Photographer Award, and won the 2016 Alexia Grant as well as a gold in the 2013 Society of Publications Designers Awards for his commission for the New Yorker Magazine on the Iditarod, and the 2012 Daylight Photo Award.
