When Miss Fanny Van Wyck, born in 1903, passed away in 1988, she could never have imagined her house would be auctioned off by the state against her dying wish. Now her ghost is believed to remain in "Miss Fanny's Victorian Party House" in Poughkeepsie, New York. The home is known as one of the most haunted in New York State.
