About

My name is Ilda Hoxha (Koçi) I have studied Journalism and Communications at University of Tirana and I have a Master’s degree in Media Marketing. I set out as a radio journalist about 10 years ago. After a year in the radio, I switched to working as a social affairs journalist with the Gazeta Shqip for 3 years. Later, I was employed as an editor of the online version of Gazeta Shqip. I stayed with the on-line media until May 2021. In June 2021-August 2021 and June 2022-August 2022 (two seasons), I changed to the position of organizer and journalist with “Pushime on Top”, a summer-time TV show on Top Channel. In September 2021, I joined Faktoje.al. In this connection, I established cooperation with BBC (2022-2023). In addition, I have been a fact-checking trainer for young people under an IREX project, while also being a participant in various trainings, both in Albania and abroad. As a fact-checker, from October 2022 until March 2023, I was part of CINergy project, organized by Deutsche Welle Academy. During 2023, I have been a producer for Volant Media. November 2023-Consultant for [Deutsche Welle Academy[ project ‘Western Balkan: Media freedom and Pluralism”.
