Request a demoFormerly the Multimedia Editor at HuffPost, I moved to Colombia to pursue freelance projects, and I covered social and environmental justice all across the country, for Al Jazeera, Washington Post, Greenpeace, the BBC and more. I was recently awarded an O1 Extraordinary Ability visa to move to the US, and I am now based in LA, where I am working at a documentary production company. I have previously been awarded grants to film and produce experimental 360 videos to tell climate change stories, and I have training in - and experience of - reporting from hostile environments. I am currently working on a short doc for First Look Media, filming in a prison; an investigative feature-length doc filming in LA; and a number of short news packages for Deutsche Welle, the BBC and Al Jazeera. I am represented by UTA and split my time between LA, London and Colombia.

Lucy worked incredibly hard to ensure the success of this very challenging project. Sourcing capable filmmakers in 12 remote locations of the world is no easy task. She managed a tight budget impeccably, worked through any unforeseen issues, and ensured the delivery of excellent footage from each filmmaker. Highly recommend working with Lucy!

The Faroe Islands receives a lot of bad press for still whaling. I travelled there to find out the real story behind the tradition, managing to gain the trust of locals, who are now incredibly mistrustful of the press. My goal was to produce a well-balanced, wholly unbiased piece, which I feel I achieved. I filmed, produced, edited the entire piece.

Filming, producing and directing a short news feature during the LA protests about two generations of a Black family involved in activism. Delivered the product under a tight time frame, and challenging coronavirus conditions.
Along with a colleague, I travelled to Lebanon to produce a number of reports on the Syrian refugee crisis. This was an original look at why eliminating child labour is not as simple as it sounds. We worked closely with Save the Children, who provided us access to interview subjects, and we had to continually conduct risk assessments on our reporting as we were next to the Syrian border.

I travelled to remote areas of Papua New Guinea to report on the country's TB epidemic. I filmed two interviews, with an MSF nurse working at a rural hospital, and with a TB patient, who I travelled with by boat to her home. I also filmed b-roll for the news package, and edited the b-roll into a short sequence for the Al Jazeera editors. My material was used in a news package which aired on AJ TV.
