About

SHEMEI AGABO is a creative and innovative multimedia storyteller. Over the course of 7 years as a content creator, he has honed his skills in documentary film, audio production, and digital journalism, working with production companies and non-governmental organizations. His impactful documentaries are known for their novel and creative approach to storytelling. Shemei is currently pursuing a Master's in Digital Journalism at Aga Khan University in Nairobi, Kenya, and is well-equipped to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of media and communication. In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Shemei is also the creative producer and editor of "AfriMillennial: The Podcast," a platform that highlights the stories of Uganda's creative contemporaries. He is also a volunteer with the ACTS Foundation, a network of professionals working to positively impact the spiritual, mental, and physical growth of youth in rural and urban centers of Uganda. Shemei's expertise extends beyond storytelling, as he is also a trained social media expert who has helped several startups establish an online presence, including the African Institute for Investigative Journalism, Kwenu Kampala, and Ouroots Africa.
