This journalistic film project was made to accompany a research article. The filming was often ad hoc so we had to work with natural light. It's a about a tender trajectory for the right to buy leftover bikes, by the city of Amsterdam. The product is a short documentary (in Dutch it would be called a 'reportage'), commissioned by journalistic platform Follow The Money.

Rough Diamonds is a documentary about the rolemodels of urban youth in The Netherlands. Who inspires 13 year olds who are eccentric, playful and sometimes provocative? On one side there are criminals and criminogenic rappers, at the other side are teachers, parents and sports-coaches trying to be inspiring.
