Request QuoteLaura is an award-winning Producer, Editor, and Cinematographer with almost fifteen years of professional experience. Marrying creativity with grit, she’s trekked through the workflows of planning, shooting, and post, and uses that experience to fuel efficient, soulful video work. She sees filmmaking as both an art and technical discipline that requires a lot of flexibility and fast-paced plate spinning. As a Producer, she’s most familiar working with documentary and small to medium-sized commercial or corporate sets. However, because she’s a quick study, she’ll happily jump on projects of all scopes. Behind a camera, she excels at cinematic docustyle shooting. As an Editor, she specializes in emotional excavation and can find the story in anything. Alongside developing these crafts, she has experience in both project and people management, successfully scaling video departments and optimizing filmmaking ecosystems. Her most recent efforts were focused in public media, where she won six Suncoast Emmys®, two Public Media Awards, and the 2021 TV Feature Reporting Griot Drum Community Hero Award from the Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists.
