After working for Canada's largest news networks (CBC & CTV) as a reporter/video journalist, news producer, and editor for nearly a decade, I now travel to some of the most remote and fascinating areas around the world where I singlehandedly produce a range of underreported stories, breaking news rushes, and features that pertain to human rights issues, global cultures, arts and travel. Professionally trained and experienced behind and in-front of the camera, I research, interview, shoot, write, edit and produce all of my material independently in the field. I hold a Master of Journalism from one of Canada's most distinguished journalism schools (Carleton University), an honours BA (Political Science) from Concordia University, a Television Broadcasting Diploma from Algonquin College, and a certificate in Asian Studies from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. I am also multilingual, capable of working in both the most sophisticated settings and those that present great challenges.
