I am a highly experienced news and sport media professional/broadcast journalist with a well established profile. Versatile, adaptable all rounder with gravitas (news, sport, music (I host my own podcast - Rock’n’Goal), travel - presenter, reporter, producer), 25 years as a presenter, correspondent and producer with Sky. 2018 projects included working in Russia as a Story Features Producer at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and for OBS in Madrid, Segment Reporter for Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Authoritative presenter and interviewer with sound editorial judgement and skills honed in a fast moving breaking news environment. I’m strong writing creatively to pictures (a dying art in visual media) and can offer sharp news writing, energetic reporting and imaginative feature production across all platforms. As a storyteller I know the importance that engaging emotion brings to narrative. Equally comfortable answering the questions as asking them, I excel in the 'live' broadcast environment, thinking quickly on my feet and reacting calmly under pressure. I was one of the pioneering broadcasters to take news gathering live and mobile with cable-less digital technology (Euro 2004) and also executed award winning, innovative live mobile coverage at the 2012 Olympics.
