Phoenix Homelessness
This project introduced me to the world of journalism in a way unlike any of my previous experiences. I gained hands-on knowledge of field production and learned the importance of each element in the process. I researched the homelessness crisis in Phoenix, Arizona, found individuals to interview, and arranged a tour with a local shelter to bring attention to an issue that continues to worsen. Through good pre-production planning and storytelling, I was able to create a powerful story.
