CURRENTLY BASED IN HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT, USA I'm a journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker from Cape Town, South Africa. My work has focused on social and humanitarian issues, as well as human rights, and arts and culture. I've been based in in Jordan, Sudan, Yemen, Brazil and Ethiopia for short reporting stints between two and seven months. My short films have been about protests against the Soccer World Cup in Brazil, as well as a the humanitarian impact of Islamic State on residents in Kobane, Syria. I'm interested in telling stories across various platforms, using text, photos and audiovisual.
